The Commonwealth Government, through the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, funds Work Venture and over 440 similar organisations in each state and territory in Australia to provide employment assistance for people with disabilities. Work Venture helps employers by placing workers with disabilities in suitable jobs. We give advice on getting workers started, workplace modifications, training, apprenticeships and traineeships. We can also give advice on Commonwealth assistance for employers of workers with a disability.
