On the job support
When you start work a Job Support Worker may work with you to help you learn the job. However, some workers do not need on job support. We will gauge this and give you the correct amount of support. If you need support, your support worker will remain with you until such times as you are confident on the job and are     performing to the level expected by the employer or to the level we have negotiated with the employer.
 
Once the Job Support Worker and you are happy that you are working at the required level, the Job Support Worker will slowly withdraw from the work site.
 
If at any time you are having problems in the job or need some assistance to learn a new task, all you need to do is ring Work Venture.
 

Even though the Job Support Worker is no longer on site on a full time basis they will regularly call in to see how you are going and to make sure you are happy with the job and not experiencing any difficulty.

What about transportation?
When Work Venture locates a job for you, we consider the proximity of the work place to your home and access by public transport. If you have your own transport this will be even better as we can expand our job search area.
Will I be safe on the job?
Your Job Support Worker will teach you to use any machinery that you may be required to use in the course of your job. They will also teach you any workplace safety rules that you need to be familiar with.
