At a subsequent interview you will meet your Job Placement Consultant. It is important that you get to know them and feel comfortable with them. This is because you will be working together to find a job.
At this interview you will discuss with your Job Placement Consultant your interests, skills and abilities. This will help you and the Job Placement Consultant make some choices about the type of work you might like to do. Together you will complete an Activity Agreement/Employment Agreement Plan.
This will:
- Identify your strengths and weaknesses
- Identify your employment related goals
- List what is going to prevent you from getting a job
- What you and Work Venture need to do get a job
- At the end of this interview you and the Job Placement Consultant will have a good idea of your aspirations, skills, interests, abilities and employment goals.
- This will enable you to make clear and informed choices about the career path that you would like to follow.
- We will also know what Work venture and you need to do to achieve these goals. (This may include practising your interview skills, a training course or perhaps some work experience.)
